Chapter Fifteen

It was birthday time again, this time for the nooboos.




Magnus aged up with the Silly trait. He was a vampire. Marko was a human with the Clingy trait.




It was the first day of summer and I splurged on some outdoor fun. I couldn't go out during the day, but they could.








Hunter was a little shit and I had to put him in time out again and again.














The triplets went to school for the first time and I spent the day potty training. This was my not-so-glamorous life now.




Bianca brought her grades up to an 'A'. It was time for birthday cake! Daria aged with her newest trait: Outgoing. She decided her aspiration would be Archeology Scholar, making her a Quick Learner.




Bianca's newest trait was Gloomy. Poor child couldn't win for losing. Oddly enough she selected Joke Star as her aspiration making her Gregarious. Go figure.




And somehow when we were downstairs celebrating, this happened...




I was gobsmacked and didn't know who or how many kids to punish. I just told everyone to do their homework, fed them and sent them all to bed while I mopped.

We didn't celebrate holidays for the most part, so Thanksgiving was just another day for us. After they were all tucked in bed it was time to pick up the house and write. I sold the fifth book of my Ebony Cutlass series: Lover Released . I posted it as the first snow of the season came down. The first day of winter arrived with more snow. I splurged on some furniture for my cozy tropical greenhouse. I decided to tackle another biography. I labored longer than I expected. I needed to suck down plasma to get through it. Finally I gave birth to twins. I named my twin daughters, Daria and Bianca. There wasn't any way to tell at this point who they would look like or if they would be vamps. I was optimistic and in love with motherhood. Some of the charm wore off when my doubles proved to be trouble. They frequently shit and cried in tandem. I stumbled through the bottles, diapers, cuddling, and rocking with spurts of writing. Then my lappy went tits up and I had to Youtube on my phone to fix it myself. Despite all the hassle I managed to complete my first romance trilogy: Fifty Shades of Blood , Fifty Shades Bloodier , and Fifty Shades Imprisoned . As I walked out to mail the last manuscript to the publisher, the first snow was falling. I even squeezed in some vampy skilling and ranked up from a Vampire Fledgling to a Minor Vampire. I quickly discovered that sustaining my thirst with plasma pouches had me spending money faster than I could make it. I learned I could fish or hunt for frogs to convert to plasma. As unappetizing as that sounded, I was game to try. Fishing relaxed me, but it felt like a waste of time. I could be writing and earning money. I left the fishing spot feeling discouraged when I spotted Marcus. He walked right past me like he'd never seen me before. That fucker! I made up my mind right there and then, that we'd go on a date and I'd convince him to become my man. Then we'd go on another date and I'd dump his ass. No one's treating me like that.
